Born in Sicily, Giueseppe Ragona studied dance in Palermo before joining Rome Opera Ballet School which he followed for two years. He then continued his training at the Hamber Ballet school, graduating in 2011.
He then became apprentice with the Dortmun Ballet progressing to corps de ballet , then soloist from 2014.
He danced in many works by Xin Pend Wang, the company's director, noteably solos in « Zauberberg » and «Faust I» .
He danced in repertoire by Alexander Ekman, Benjamin Millepied, Demis Volpi, Johan Inger, Richard Siegal and Mauro Bigonzetti.
After seven intense years within this company of both classical and contemporary repertoire, Giuseppe Ragona decided to dedicate his time to teaching.
Giuseppe is joining the Ecole de Danse de Genève from September 2018 teaching ballet to the children and adult sections.
